What is Holistic Kinesiology?

Holistic Kinesiology (H.K.) derives from the work of Dr. George J Goodheart a Detroit chiropractor from 1964. It was developed by Dr. Raphael Van Assche the Austrian Physician who discovered the ‘arm reflex’, the muscle test which H.K. is based on. It is a safe and effective diagnostic technique that considers the individual as a whole. Using gentle muscle monitoring a dialogue is established with the client’s body to access their innate knowledge, Allowing us to obtain information on the structural, chemical, emotional, nutritional or energetic causes that lead to organic imbalance.

Holistic kinesiology is a non-invasive technique that allows us to recognise the root of the problem, instead of treating only the symptoms, providing us with powerful tools for healing and It is suitable for all age groups!.

H.K. uses the power of the body's innate healing ability. This holistic approach allows us to observe and respect the unique nature of each individual, because each human being reacts differently to the same environment, two people with the same symptoms could receive different treatments according to their distinctive natures. It is one of the complementary therapies that has spread rapidly throughout the world, being used by doctors, dentists, chiropractors, nutritionists, podiatrists, etc.

H.K. helps us to reconnect with the wisdom of our bodies and so learn a little more about ourselves and thus become empowered to create our own health.

This is where, as a Holistic Therapist, I invite you to learn about Holistic Kinesiology as a tool to discover how wonderful our body is and how each cell is part of a whole.
